Alexandra Cooper was born on August 21st, 1994 in Newtown, Pennsylvania, to Bryan and Laurie Cooper. Her father was a hockey player who played at the University of Wisconsin. Boston University's coaching staff recognized her athleticism, and they offered the athlete a sports scholarship. Cooper was able to accept the scholarship and played soccer for Boston University's Division-1 team for four years. Cooper served as captain in the final year of her high school. Cooper was a leader in her team's journey to four M.C.T. In all four years Cooper took Prep A and also the M.C.T. She also earned All-Prep First Team as well as All-Area First Team distinctions in senior and junior. Cooper was a star in other fields too. Through her college years she began to be fascinated by the world of entertainment and media. She decided this is the path for her. When she graduated at Boston University, she earned a degree with honors in the field of Film and Television.
